WARRANTY GUIDELINES

The user assumes all risks with regards to personal injury, damage to or failure of all or any Fiend BMX products, and any losses if the Fiend BMX product is used in a competitive event. The product whether bought in store or over the internet must be assembled by an authorized Fiend BMX dealer and qualified bicycle mechanic. All warranties are extended to the original purchaser only for the original purchase. Any claim must be made within the stated warranty time period. Product that has been replaced under this warranty cannot be replaced under an additional warranty in the future. Normal wear and tear, abuse, improper maintenance or neglect are not covered under this warranty. This does not affect your legal rights.

 

FRAMES/FORKS/CRANKS: All aftermarket Fiend BMX frames, forks and cranks have a thirty (30) day warranty against manufacturer defects including materials or workmanship. Thoroughly inspect your new Fiend part prior to installation.

Additionally Fiend BMX offers a one (1) year limited warranty* on all of our aftermarket frames, forks and cranks for any problems arising from cracks only, whether located on the tube or weld. Bending, stripped threads, twisting, denting or other such damage is deemed as a sign of normal wear and tear, rider abuse(accidental or intentional) or incorrect maintenance and not product failure and therefore not covered under warranty.

 

HANDLEBARS: All aftermarket Fiend BMX handlebars have a thirty (30) day warranty against manufacturer defects including materials or workmanship. Thoroughly inspect your new Fiend part prior to installation.

Additionally Fiend BMX offers a ninety (90) day limited warranty* on all of our aftermarket handlebars for any problems arising from cracks only, whether located on the tube or weld. Bending, stripped knurling, twisting, denting or other such damage is deemed as a sign of normal wear and tear, rider abuse(accidental or intentional) or incorrect maintenance and not product failure and therefore not covered under warranty.

 

ALL OTHER PARTS: Fiend BMX offers a full thirty day (30) day warranty* for any problems arising from manufacturers defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty covers cracks & breakages only. It excludes any bending, stripped out threads, twisting, denting, torn materials or other such damage as this is deemed as a sign of rider abuse or incorrect maintenance & not product failure and therefore not covered under warranty.

 

Fiend BMX reserves the right to repair or replace any product covered under this warranty. The damaged product may not be replaced with the exact model or color, a similar product may be substituted at our discretion. Fiend BMX also reserves the right to offer a  “Crash Replacement” warranty for a product deemed to not be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty or that is beyond the stated warranty period, you may be offered a replacement part at a reduced cost. If the purchaser accepts a Crash Replacement warranty the cost must be paid to Fiend BMX before the replacement will be sent and  is to be paid by cash, check or Paypal(credit cards are accepted through Paypal). No further warranty will apply to any replacement product sent to the user under the Crash Replacement warranty.

 

*The warranty time frames outlined above are what we deem as the typical lifetime of an after market product.

 

No warranty is offered on any replacement parts supplied within this warranty. Fiend BMX will not warranty any product that was replaced under a prior warranty.

 

You must retain the original purchase receipt which MUST be presented when making a claim. NO warranty will be offered without proof of purchase.

 

All claims must be made through the place of purchase in the country of purchase.
Please email us with your initial claim details at info@fiendbmx.com and submit photos of the affected area in question including a photo of the original purchase receipt.

 

The end user is responsible for all costs involved in making a claim, this includes all postage or shipping costs in returning of the products to your place of purchase or us, for inspection, and also includes the costs involved in the return of your product or it’s replacement. Contact the place of purchase or us directly before you send any products back for inspection. Labor and/or transport charges for the replacement products are not included and must be paid by the purchaser. Typically the shipping cost to return a replacement frame to a purchaser is $20-25 and all other parts $10-15 for continental USA residents only. Return shipping and/or labor costs are to be paid to Fiend BMX prior to us sending a replacement product covered under warranty either by cash, money order or Paypal.

 

No modifications to the product are allowed and will void the warranty, excluding cutting down the steer tube length on forks or cutting down handle bar widths. However, if it is determined that these modifications were the cause for such failure then any warranty is void.
